Welcome to the home of the Essex Craft Guild 

The Essex Craft Guild is a voluntary non-profit making organisation which promotes and supports genuine hand-made local arts and crafts. 
 
The Guild is a voluntary non-profit making organisation, established in 1984, with the encouragement of Essex County Council, to promote and support genuine handmade local arts and crafts. Members are selected for the outstanding quality and originality of their work. 
 
The Guild promotes handmade traditional and contemporary craftsmanship of quality and excellence and encourages the appreciation of crafts amongst its members and the general public. 
The Guild currently supports around 100 members with a wide variety of craft skills. 
The Guild members are supported by a voluntary committee who are elected each year at the AGM and are responsible for organising and managing all aspects of the Guild. The current committee consists of:
